As we continue to gather information about online camera dealers, we notice certain tendencies. One is a penchant for anonymity and concealment.

Some dealers register their domains -- and even their corporate entities -- using false names or other disguises. Some dealers use a rented mailbox as their "address," and some reveal no address at all. A few have even revised their original registrations to remove identifying information. This behavior is most prevalent among dealers who have the lowest level of customer satisfaction; of course, that may be a coincidence.

It's possible that the lack of information provided by some dealers is just an oversight. It's not likely that any of them want to make it difficult for their customers to reach them. After all, every dealer on our list, without exception, expresses pride in its customer service and an eagerness to provide a good buying experience.

We would like your help filling in the gaps in our knowledge. If you have done business with a dealer for whom our information is incomplete, you can assist us.

If something has been shipped to you from an address other than one we know about, please tell us.

If the paperwork includes new names or phone numbers, let us know.

If a different company's name shows up on your credit card bill, or your credit card provider can supply
      one, please pass it on.

If you've come by any other information that would benefit other camera buyers, shoot it on over.

We will be grateful. You can reach us here.

We neither encourage nor discourage purchases from any company mentioned here.
